Mandate
Kiyôhkatowin means “visiting” in Cree. Our Home Visitation Workers will mentor parents and caregivers in their home/community by supporting children’s growth and development through deliberate and culturally appropriate caregiving.
Wâhkômiwêw Connections Program

Wahkomiwew is "Being connected to people" - Support youth and their parents and caregivers to develop individualized Healing Plans that build on individual and family strengths to create positive change.

The Hope for Wellness Help Line offers immediate help to all Indigenous peoples across Canada.It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to offer:
- counselling
- crisis intervention

The Autism Society of Alberta would like to introduce the Indigenous Relations Circle. Rooted in respect, the circles’ goals are to bring together diverse perspectives on the experiences of Indigenous peoples and autism in Alberta. The circle is a central concept to Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island and the Indigenous Relations Circle will listen, learn, share, connect and advocate for Indigenous autistic people and families.”
